Please contact us for rates to Europe, for the rest of the world we recommend you use a shipping company near you to arrange collection from our factory in Dorking -we can supply the dimensions and weight of your order for shipping purposes.
A: bell tents are usually dispatched within 1 working day and sent out on a 2 day service (overnight incurs a small surcharge). You will be told when ordering (orders by phone) or by email (online orders) when to expect delivery of your bell tent(s). They will arrive on a pallet and the delivery company will use a pallet truck to wheel it as close to the house as possible - unfortunately they cannot unpack the pallet or transport it on soft surfaces.

Camping in the winter may seem like an odd thing to do but it's actually very satisfying and much less cold than you might think!
1) Peg out the tent keeping the (sewn or zipped in) groundsheet taught in all directions.
2)Note the long straight edge is the entrance.
3) If you have a detachable groundsheet lay it out tightly first (pegs only half-way in), lay the tent out to match the groundsheet, take out one peg at a time and put back in through the groundsheet then through the eyelet in the trim of the tent (remaining trim to go under the groundsheet).

Cotton canvas is naturally a waterproof material in the same way that traditional wooden boats are waterproof, similar to the planks cotton fibres swell and plug the holes to stop water going through, this means that the material needs to be weathered to become 100% waterproof. It is not advised to apply a waterproofing product to a new bell tent as it may interfere with this process...
